PT Mega Corpora, a subsidiary of CT Corp., put up capital of Rp 65.8 billion to Bank of North Sulawesi. The signing of the capital injection was made on Wednesday (21/12/2011) at the Office of Bank Sulut, Manado, North Sulawesi. The event was attended by North Sulawesi Governor SH Sarundajang, CT Corp. Chairman Chairul Tanjung, President Director of PT Mega Corpora, President Director of PT Trans Corp., as well as the regents / mayors in the province of North Sulawesi as a shareholder of PT Bank Sulut. ith the new capital injection, Mega Corpora has a 24.9 percent shares in Bank of North Sulawesi. "Although we already have 24.9 percent shares, but we do not intend to have the Bank of North Sulawesi. In fact we will be using existing human resources in the Bank of North Sulawesi," said Chairul. The commitment is also conveyed by the Governor of North Sulawesi. According Sarundajang, CT Corp. will only support of the North Sulawesi capital that the Bank could develop. Sarundajang say, North Sulawesi Province has 12 districts / cities in the mainland and islands of the three districts, namely Talaud, Sangihe, and Sitaro. North Sulawesi has enormous natural potential, including coconut, cloves, nutmeg, fish, and tourism. Chairul optimistic Sulut will thrive, let alone the government has set Bitung harbor as one of international harbor. Therefore, he said, it also intends to invest in North Sulawesi.
